This week’s featured pet is Sparky:

Sparky is a male gray and white Shih Tzu mix that was rescued from a shelter in Missouri. This handsome guy has a great disposition and gets along with other dogs and loves all people. If you are looking for low-maintenance, that would be Sparky. He is approximately two years old and weighs about 16 lbs. Sparky is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and neutered. He will make a wonderful pet for any family. I would say that probably it would be best for him for a family without toddlers as he has that low long back and they have a tendency to want to sit on them.

This week’s featured pet is BENTLEY

Bentley is a male red and white Boston Terrier mix who was rescued from Olive Branch Animal Shelter. He is built like a Boston, but possibly mixed with an English Bulldog. He is approximately two-years-old with a great temperament. He gets along with other dogs and cats. Bentley is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and neutered. He weighs in at 28 lbs. He rides well in a car. Bentley would probably be best in an active home with older children.

This week’s featured pet is Daisy.

Daisy is about 35lbs. She is a lovable girl that is house and kennel trained and goes to her kennel with no problem. She adores people and is such a good Companion. Daisy only wants to be loved on and have her belly rubbed. She loves going outside to play but is more of a alpha female so if there are other dogs males would be better. She lives in a house full of both male and female small and large dogs and even cats but she is the alpha so it all works out. Daisy and her puppy were living in a burned out house where men where throwing food out in the street playing a deadly game of cat and mouse with the dogs. Every time they would come out in the street one of the men would try to run over them. Thanks to a caring Memphis Police Officer they were saved and are now ready to find a wonderful home of their own!

This week’s featured pet is Henry

Sweet boy Henry is officially back in rescue and up for adoption. He had to come back through no fault of his own and is completely vetted. Henry weighs about 65 pounds, is about 7 years old and a Coon Hound mix with the softest fur ever! He is house-trained and great with kids and other dogs, not sure about cats. Henry has the best disposition of any dog his foster has had in her care. Henry LOVES the outdoors and would love to have a family to call his own, forever this time!

This week’s featured pet is Elle.

Elle is female terrier approximately one-year-old. This sweet girl is meant for an active family. She loves to play and would probably have to be the alpha dog. I would put her with a dog her size or bigger, although she lives in harmony with smaller dogs at her foster home. She can just be a little too much for them to play with. Elle is affectionate. She is crate-trained and I would say “housebroken” although in rescue that term is relative. If you get her on a good schedule, should be no problem at all. She is spayed, heartworm negative and on prevention. She is current on vaccinations and rabies. She would be a great fit for a runner or active family.

This week’s featured pet is Austin

Austin is a male Chihuahua mix approximately two years old. He was rescued from Marion Animal Shelter by GAPR. Austin is a lovebug. His favorite position is on his back in your lap being rocked or curled up under the covers of his person. He is very sweet and gentle, but does not like to share his spot with another male dog. He is fine living with all dogs as long as they don’t try to share his spot for sleeping. Austin was heartworm positive when we got him, but has since been treated. He is not quite ready for heartworm test yet – that is usually done about six months after treatment. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and current on rabies. Austin would make a wonderful companion for most any family.

This week’s featured pets are Chocolate, Cinnamon, and Coco

These sweet Border Collie mix puppies are approximately four-months-old. They are the sweetest, most laid-back puppies you will ever meet. They are playful at times, but prefer to sit in your lap. The three adorable furbabies are very smart – sitting for their treats and one of them has already learned to ring a bell when he needs to go outside. They are kennel-trained and go to the door when they want to go potty. They are awesome family dogs because they love children of all ages. They would make wonderful companions for any family.

Peaches was surrendered with the rest of her litter to the Olive Branch Humane Society as a newborn (only about a week old) without a mom. The litter was bottle fed and very sick with coccidia & giardia. They all got over the illness now she has been waiting for 5 years for a home. Peaches is an orange tabby and is now 5 years old. She is the most loving cat in the world! Peaches enjoys being a lap cat, running and playing and likes other cats. If you are looking for a sweet cat with a great personality then you have found her!

Shelby is an approximately three-year-old female Border Collie mix.  What a sweetheart!  She is laidback, but also has a fun side to her.  She is house-trained and kennel-trained. She is great with people, other dogs and cats.  She loves bellyrubs.  She definitely needs a backyard so she has room to run and play in.  She is heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spayed.  This is a stunningly beautiful girl who would make a great companion.

Chloe is approximately 4-5 months old female Border Collie mix. She was abandoned in a field in Frayser and rescued by a Good Samaritan who cannot keep her because his mother was ill. Chloe is the most sweet, loving, well-mannered little thing weighing about 30 lbs. She has had first shot and is scheduled for spay and rabies in near future. Chloe would make a wonderful companion for any family because she loves everyone. She is great with other dogs also.

This week’s featured pet is Jackson.

Jackson is an approximately one-year-old male white Pit Bull/Boxer mix. He is an adorably sweet guy. He is totally deaf, but does know hand signals. He is approximately 35 lbs, housebroken, and kennel-trained. He walks well on a leash and rides very well in a car. Jackson has a great tempermant loving kids, other dogs, and cats. This is a great companion dog.

He is house broken kennel trained. LOVES kids, dogs and even gets along with cats. Year old very sweet but def. knows hand signs. On the small side maybe about 35lbs. Walks on a leash perfectly and rides very well in a care. Does not startle easy even though he’s def he will not snap or bite if startled. Such a wonderful dog!!!!!

This week’s featured pet is Pepper

Pepper and the three siblings that are left are best guesstimate Border Collie/Golden mixes. They were left abandoned in a box and Guardian Angel took them in. One of the sisters got adopted last weekend so there is one girl and four boys left. These adorable dogs are are extremely gentle, laid-back, sweet, and loving. They are great with small kids and other dogs. They love to be cuddled and let the kids carry them around like a baby. They are already going outside to potty and are kennel-trained. They are going to be big dogs, but will still make great house-dogs. They will be great companion dogs for any family.
