It’s Probably Not A Good Idea To Open A Casino Where Gambling Is Illegal.
There’s one thing missing at a new Indian casino in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Unfortunately it’s gambling. It was mistakenly built in an area where gambling is illegal. The $36 million casino and hotel complex opened in June. It has restaurants, a lounge and an indoor pool, overlooking Lake Huron’s Horseshoe Bay. But its 29,000 sq. ft. casino with 800 slot machines and 26 gambling tables hasn’t been able to operate. The government says part of the casino was built on land where Indian gambling is not allowed. Members of the Tribe of Chippewa Indians are debating who was responsible for the mistake, with the tribe’s current and former chairmen blaming each other.

Teen graduates college in 1-year!
An 18 year-old attending the University of Virginia–with a double major just graduated in a single year! True, David Bahn was helped by the fact that the university accepted many of his Advanced Placement credits from high school and that he doubled up on course credits and even took more physics over the summer to finish up his second major…but still. It’s something that most people say they’ve never seen before. What’s more….the cost of his college education was covered almost entirely by a patchwork of scholarships, and only ran him about $200 total. But wait–he sold back textbooks for more than that, so at this point, he’s technically even running a profit! Look for the little genius to next embark on his graduate studies at UVA…with a research grant, of course…
