A Man Calls 911 to Report . . . Criminally High Gas Prices

We know how played-out it is to complain about gas prices . . . but we still got a good laugh out of this guy.

–On Wednesday night in Massachusetts, a man called 911 to report CRIMINALLY HIGH GAS PRICES.  He told the 911 dispatcher he’d paid $25 and only got SIX GALLONS at $4.13-a-gallon and that he wanted his money back, because six gallons just is NOT $25 worth of gas.

–When the cops arrived, he kept complaining.  They told him the gas prices are, sadly, legal, and didn’t arrest him.

If You Order 1,050 Slices of Bacon, Burger King Will Comply

You don’t have to be a doctor to know that eating hundreds of strips of bacon at a time can’t possibly be good for your health. A reporter for Japan’s Rocket News obviously didn’t get that memo. Because he ordered a burger from Burger King with 1,050 slices on top.

–Burger King is running a promotion in Japan that lets you tack on 15 strips of bacon for about $1.25 Or, in this case, over a thousand for about $90.

The greasy, glistening burger must have been quite physically taxing because by the time he gave up eating it, he was glowing with sweat and had only demolished about half of it. Then again, in this case, “half” is about five hundred slices of bacon.

–Check out the video here (Warning:  It is in Japanese)

Memphis Man Beats the Odds and Gets TWO holes-in-one

78-year-old Earl Dietering of Memphis had a great day on the golf course yesterday.  He was playing in a fivesome at the Irene Golf and Country Club when he accomplished an improbable feat: He made two holes-in-one!

–The odds of that happening are 67,000-to-1!

–First, Earl aced the par-3 on the 4th hole.  Then, when he teed up for the 16th hole, he said to his buddies, “I wonder what it would be like if I hit another?”  Then, he did!!

–Over the course of his life, Earl has now had 4 holes-in-one.  They all happened at the same golf course, using the same 7-iron club that he used in his odd-breaking double hole-in-one yesterday.
