Dick Clark Had Prostate Surgery the Day Before He Died
We’d heard that DICK CLARK had some kind of medical procedure the day before he died of a heart attack. And now we know what it was.
–According to the death certificate, Dick had prostate surgery.
–Congressman DAVID DREIER . . . who was a friend of Dick’s . . . explained, quote, “[Dick] had very minor prostate surgery.
–”All of a sudden, he got a feeling in his arm about 9:30 [the next] morning and he was gone by 11:15. It turned out to be a massive heart attack.”

Ryan Seacrest Has Extended His “American Idol” Contract
The “Hollywood Reporter” says he’s signed on to do another two seasons of “American Idol”. He’ll make $15 million a season, which is in line with what he’s made over the past three seasons.
–His contract was up after this season, but he’d said before that he planned to stay.
–Seacrest will also be making money reporting on NBC’s upcoming Summer Olympic coverage. And, he is still negotiating with NBC to have an expanded presence on the network’s “Today” show. All of this on TOP of his presence on the E! network, producing hit shows like “Keeping up with the Kardashians”.
